Seasons Greetings

Well, it is Christmas Eve and in Finland this is the day of generosity - giving presents, and sending much joy to those near and dear to everyone. So what does Äiti do ? She sends this photo of me looking all mean and grinchy; more full of frost than seasonal cheer.

Well, maybe it is the thought that counts. But from the bottoms of our chilled hearts (it is -20'C outside) we wish you and yours all the very best for a cool yule or whatever you wish to call it. Here we are just delighted the solstice has passed and the light is returning.

  1. -20 would currently be pleasant. Our Christmas Eve in Tauranga, New Zealand has +30C and all fans and the cooler (heat pump on cool air) going. Have just finished the Summer Pudding for tomorrow. Sending you and all your wonderful cats joy, peace, and care. Please stay safe too, XX

We love comments from our Loyal Readers, even though Äiti is really bad at commenting back. But please don't let that stop you......

Saa kirjoitta suomeksikin - Äiti on laiska, mutta on pakko oppia suomea.

Tervetuloa! Welcome!
