Monday Mancat

Pekka is absolutely diligent on snow patrol. He is focused, and optimistic....

But the birdies are keeping away.

Thursday Travesty

Mirsku strides out to check the territory. His paw prints show the sisu of the brave Finnish furry mancat, unafraid of the winter chill.

He just wants a quite moment to commune with nature. Put the camera away!

And like a true gentleman, he covers his leavings. No yellow snow here, not all all, nothing to see. Move along now.

Frozen Friday

Pekka has some serious optimism, hoping to catch the birdies as they stuff themselves on the feeders. Do you see the dark patch on the snow ? That is all food for the feathered ones.  So far, none has been food for us.

Wednesday White Out

Some brave feline made sure no squirrels snuck into the Catio overnight. And I admit, it was not me!

Monday Mancats

Mousewatch duties are a little neglected right now as the snow is very deep. However, Mirsku and Pekka take their patrol seriously and do demand to go outside to check.

 Pekka returns first.

And Mirsku strides back later, having watched Äiti clear the deeper stuff out.
