Swipeday

 No, this is not swiping left or right on some silly app*, this is swiping at string toys. Kalle has discovered these joys.

He loves his playtime and is increasingly relaxed about it.

And just look at those soft little toe beans!

*there is no need for any kitty to swipe right for Kalle - he already has an admirer - Lil'Ebba in Raahe has found a place in his heart and her Humans and Äiti will be passing on treats between her and Kalle. 

Now some of us mancats are not interested in such things - we are too busy with the ol' mancat to mancat stinkeye. Happy jigsawing!

Well, we like to be positive!  Seppo is starting the week with an emphatic swing at the best string toy e have - a cable tie ! 

Tuesday Tussle

The NYE party was a hoot. Mirsku was discussing the latest cardboard box with its occupant, Seppo and Sampo was jealously eyeing up Pekka who had grabbed the string toy.

Pekka was really showing off and even Mesi was staring.

Mirsku decided enough was enough and Pekka has to skiddaddle. 

Saturday Slappy Paw

Mirsku spent some time snorting kissanminttu and felt the need to hold tight to the scratcher, in case the string toy escaped.

When it did, he needed the post to steady himself - it had been seriously good nip.

However he then decided Sampo's tail would make a good toy.

Sampo wrenched himself away.

Sampo was quite indignant.

But it looked like he'd been on the nip too as he could not quite reach Mirsku.

Ans they had a game of patty-paw instead.

Soggy Saturday

The recent weather has been dull and damp so none of us has really wanted to go outside. Well, except Ruska who maintains his mousewatch. But the other day we had some fantastic foods and a wonderful string toy from Ruska's sister Raisu in Finland(S) and of course it had to be tested. Mesi was practising her hunting skills.

 

Seppo bravely came out to attack, without any clothes on. He is about to be jumped on by Jura.

Mirsku honed his claws first.

And of course Sampo just leapt around. Even Aila came outside to check the situation.
