Sunday Spikey

Back in the spring, we had some visitors to the garden, Mr and Mrs Hedgehog came along and treated us to a display or two of their method of continuing the species. Looks like they were successful as this little one came calling on Friday.

Monday Munching

Look who is being given OUR food ! Unfair.

Tired Thursday

A few days ago - when we last had sunshine-we spotted this little hoglet asleep. Then  we spotted the empty plate which once held cat food; he was sleeping off a feast from our food!

Spikey Friday

Our hedgehog is still visiting regularly, and Äiti feeds him daily.  I pretty much ignore him; I mean, it's bad enough having fur but with his spikes he's just showing off too much!

Monday Munching

We have a new visitor Beyond the Catio - a young hedgehog. Äiti has begun to feed him - with OUR food.

Now she says these creatures are very good for the garden and over the years there are more slugs visiting (thanks to climate change) and so she wishes to encourage hedgehogs to visit and eat the slugs, before they eat our kissanminttu. So maybe the cat food is a good investment.
