Wondrous Wednesday

Sometimes in the night, Those Who Have Gone Before visit. Now Äiti was in bed asleep when this was taken from outside the Catio the other night, but she has seen these sort of revontulet before.

Overhead there is darkness one moment but then the sky rips apart and green and purple light gush out. You have to see it to appreciate how it feels, but Äiti says it is like the breath is knocked out of you, it is so dramatic. And then the lights dance. 

For all of us who have lost beloved friends - all is well at the Bridge and the dancing lights of the tailios tell us it is so.

Saturday Light Show

Äiti here: Unfortunately I have not been out watching the displays of northern lights as I'm in bed early thanks to my dizzy brain, so have had to settle for what I download from the GoPro on a lucky night. This was what I found yesterday morning.

A time lapse video of the whole night is here. If you watch you can see the tailios of those we have loved and miss so much playing in the lights. First they seem to gather and softly wave, and then the sky explodes with a chase of twisty turns and play fights. 

Thursday Tailios

On Tuesday night, the tails of those who have gone before and are much missed were dancing across our skies; the northern lights appeared over the Catio and put on a great display. Äiti had the GoPro out and this was one photo she got. She didn't see much of the display herself as she was exhausted, but she is pretty sure she saw King P's tail swish around when she did have a brief look out.
