This picture was taken at the Kissmollin cattery, where Jaava, Jura and Sampo were born. In the wings is little Lilja, the daughter of Jaava and Jura's half-brother Oscar. She has been yelling the neighbourhood down for the last week or so, and she is about to launch herself at Kaffe, a handsome brown mancat who has just arrived with the equipment to satisfy her needs. He is right to be terrified.........

Saturday Snow Break
The temperatures have been sneaking up a little so the burmese have been braving the outdoors - they can sniff out hints of sunpuddles and after a long time of darkness they are keen to get outside. Sadly when Jura went exploring it was cloudy.
Jura was not impressed by the snow which is likely to hang around for a month at least. He had a good sniff at it though - no doubt checking it for hints of yellow.......
And then he dashed off faster than Äiti's camera could flash! High time to go inside.
And Loyal Readers we beg your forgiveness but Äiti says she needs a blogcation - a break of maybe a couple of weeks from her duties of recording the felocratic activities. We will be revolting behind the scenes, in many ways. However she says she cannot think very well at the moment due to a bad bout of the Dizzies.
She has recently been diagnosed with 'Enlarged Vestibular Aqueducts' which explains her symptoms better than the label Meniere's disease does. We are deeply amused that this means she has more air in her head than she should have, but all our jokes about having a hole in her head have fallen on deaf ears. Of course. But we will endeavour to be back as soon as she has had a little rest and cleared her brain fog.
