Saturday Sock Fest

We have had a soggy, autumnal week. There have been several piles of feathers both indoors and out, and Äiti is trying to distract us. Otso always enjoys a good sock-biting session, but does it distract him from our Feline Mission ?   Not a chance.

Enjoy the jigsaw!

Saturday Strop

Someone dared to abandon us overnight. Sure, we had food and a wonderful visitor to feed and tend to us, but that's not the point. Otso is just pndering his revenge.
Yes, he is gearing up to a big bitey.
Fangs at the ready....
Too gentle, Otso! We need to see blood.

Now that face is better! Get those monster paws swiping.

 Happy jigsawing.

Wounded Wednesday

Seppo is looking a little lopsided. He got bitten in his paw-pit.

The culprit.......
And here is Seppo being brave after the abscess was removed. He has a smart blue bandage, and loads of stitches. The paw-pit is not a good place for a bitey.
We thank ystävämme eläinlääkäri and all her staff at Lemmikki - Seppo may screech and wail dramatically, but he is also very grateful. Except when he spies the antibiotics he has to take.

Saturday Sock Biting

Äiti's socks always attract attention. Every kitty wants to sniff them, and now Otso sinks his teefs into them. Yup, he's a strong chap and that did hurt. He's a feirce tabster.

And here I am, defending Äiti. I do wash her hair - someone has to.
And when the mood takes me, I can best Otso. Just look at this ! Okay, I am on the safety of Äiti's lap, and I have my protective sweater on, so I feel brave. A few yowls and Otso's airplane ears were flatter than anyone thought possible. And yes, he moved away as I intimidated him so much. No biteys, not claws - just my stinkeye.

And as for stinkeye - apparently Seppo's are in fact sultry. And for that he gets artified and you can admire him in the jigsaw.

Saturday stuff

The other day, I was minding my own business while having supervised access to the Castle environs. I decided to sneak off upstairs as Äiti was on the chair watching tv. Little did I know that an attacker was sneaking out of the bathroom, and intent on winding me up. We had a loud fight, involving tumbling down the stairs, claws flying.

After dragging the burmese ninja away, I was held on her lap for cuddles. You can see a wound on my ear.

I also had a few teethmarks in amongst my wrinkles. Äiti was most displeased. I was not too happy either as I have to be pilled again.
So who was the offender ? Sampo. Well may he hang his head ! But do notice that little bald patch by his left ear...... I did get some revenge.

Here is the weekly artification picture fo you.

Lumpy Thursday

Here you can see my nasty lump - the abscess from the bitey I got about three weeks ago. Although it was lanced, it has recurred. And I had even been a good boy and taken all my tablets. So, it's back to ystävämme eläinlääkäri for me to have it drained again. Pffft.

Sunday Slap

The slap is for Äiti who keeps leaving us to watch birds or go to work; maybe a whack from Mirsku's mighty paw and a swift bitey will make her pay attention.

Sunny Sunday

Yesterday was glorious, and Äiti put up her hammock on the Catio. I spent a long time lying on her, and watching the world from a swinging perspective.
Of course, I had to give her the bitey at times to make sure she stayed awake.
And I also posed most handsomely for the camera.
So handsomely in fact, that no artification was needed for this picture for the jigsaw. Better late than never!

Toesday

Observe my masterful paw with claws extended. Yes, I do have greasy nails - there's no fur to take away the oils so it gathers in my nails. Äiti cleans it as often as she can and  I tolerate this.
But I also  relish the opportunity to apply the bitey, especially when Äiti relaxes in the hammock.
Just look at those indentations I made in her hand - and yes, I do like  having my head held like this for a while.
