Mesi Monday

Mesi managed to secure her place on the sofa, and was guarding the bullfinch with her mighty stinkeye. That stare also is her displeasure at Äiti having to go back to work.

Well, I suppose we have to allow her to do that so she can continue to keep us stocked up with salmon......

Feathered Friday

Mirsku has developed a love of birdies. 

He loves it so much he gives it a huge hug and little bunny kick. He is so glad Äiti rescued it from the valerian vat.

And this is the real thing safe in the garden- a very shy male punatulkku, or bullfinch.  We don't get robins here in winter so these are all over the Finnish Christmas cards instead. Unless Mirsku eats them all.
