Happy Finnish Independence Day! 

We just wish that all those darn humans would live and let live on the world stage, like we kitties int the felocracy do. Most of the time, anyway.

Happy Independence Day

Today is Finnish Independence Day, and we are in our blue and white sweaters to celebrate. We are also sat in the window. It is a tradition to light two candles in the evening, to commemorate less peaceful times when this would be a sign to Finnish soldiers that they would find a welcome inside the home.  We think we form a wonderful welcoming committee ourselves!

Happy Independence Day Finland! 

Just 101 years ago today, Finland was granted independence and I loudly celebrating with my rendition of our national anthem.

Okay, maybe I was just waking up and yawning, pre-song. But no Felocrat will be doubted for their patriotism.
