Monday Made Better

 Seppo has discovered the perfect approach to Monday - mood altering valerian !  He is treating the start of the working week with the disrespect it deserves.

Meeting Monday Full On

We are meeting the new week with a little help from munkkikorppikotka. Pekka is out of the picture, already stoned, but still with his paw on the drug supply. Seppo is hoping he will let go. Mesi sneaks in. And Sampo just looks cross-eyed. We hope you will also have a good start to the week !

Friday Feathers

 The doughnut vulture (munkkikorppikotka) reappeared on the Catio, just in time for weekend relaxation. Jura made sure that all was safe by going straight for its neck to immobilise it. 

Anf he was very pleased with himself as he inhaled the valerian vapours. Jura continues to do well, despite whatever nasty is in his throat, and we are very relieved he is showing few symptoms.

Thursday Throwdown

The valerian  doughnut vulture* provided much entertainment, and for some reason we got extra treats and mucnhies. Jaava decided not to show how she indulged and turned her back to the camera.

Unka Sampo had no such shame - he went for the bite and inhale style.

 Seppo went nuts - bunny kicks, biteys, hugs - he was rolling around all over the birdie. And he was nekkid. Ha!

* munkkikorppikotka is the Finnish name for this bird; korppikotka is vulture and munkki is monk, or doughnut. Why there should be the same word for monk and doughnut is beyond me right now. Humans, eh ?

Valerian Wednesday

Phew, there is so much to enjoy here. I got some Big Cat stuff yesterday. Äiti bought us a new toy (munkkikorpikota - a very rare and special birdy, called a doughnut vulture). Before we got it, she dipped it in the drug tank so it marinated well. Now of course the mighty mancats wanmted a sniff - Great Unka Jura and Pekka kept Mesi away.

Pekka wanted to make it clear that Jura should stand back so he, Pekka, could have first dibs.

But lookie here -I, Papu, sneak underneath and get the first inhale.

Now, to be honest, I was not so impressed. maybe my little nostrils are currently immune and it is all too grown up - a bit like human children not liking broccoli. Anyway, I'll show some more photos soon of how the others enjoyed the valerian. Bye for now !
