Saturday Shenanigans

Autumn is here, and the weather is wild and windy. There are loads of birdies in the garden, and some of course join us on the Catio - but not for long. Papu does his best to make it up to Äiti by looking as sweet and cute as possible. How could he be a vishus birdslayer ?  

One morning, Äiti came downstairs and was dismayed to find the forward ranks of the mousewatch brigade indoors - more exactly, like this:

There was, of course, a rodent behind all that stuff. The Mousewatch shift continued and later that evening we were all relaxed and ignoring hidden corners and crevaces, so Äiti thought all was well. Nope. The next morning she discovered Jaava and Jura tormenting the mousie, who was still alive. She caught the mousie and took it outside, Beyond the Catio, hoping it would recover from the trauma.
