Back in the spring, we had some visitors to the garden, Mr and Mrs Hedgehog came along and treated us to a display or two of their method of continuing the species. Looks like they were successful as this little one came calling on Friday.
We don't have hedgies around here, however one named Tinky looms large in a book that we recently read: "The Moor" by Laurie R. King. Sherlock Holmes and Mary Russell are back prowling around Dartmoor (like in "The Hound of the Baskervilles), but then Tinky gives them the clue that they need!
