Observe the Stinkeye, as only a tortie can achieve it. Exacerbated and enhanced by her owlish eyebrows. Mesi is not at her happiest.
And when Mesi is not happy, I usually know it. She chases me. She floofs her tail and tears after me as I try to escape. She encourages Sampo and Pekka to join in.But now, things are shifting. I have a pal: I get to spend time with Papu at night. I get playtime with him, and he and I are extending gentle paws of friendship. Mesi has not joined in with welcoming the Little One (maybe because he is not so little). In fact she has disgraced herself and peemailed a lot. It is unusual for girlcats to do this, but Mesi is no ordinary girlcat - she does what Sampo and Punapippuri taught her to do, and relishes it. How very unlady-like. Not that she cares as all the others love her when she turns on her charms. I am hoping Papu will not be fooled though, and that he and I will be good buddies.
Oh, talk about tortitude!
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a scary stinkeye!
ReplyDeleteAww, Mesi...peemailing?!? Papu is just a wee runt; no threat to you in the least!
ReplyDeleteGood thing that being beautiful cancels out many wrongdoings! hee-hee
ReplyDeleteAwww, Mesi. Why were you not happy today?
ReplyDeleteI bet she is mad that you missed tortie appreciation day last week.
