Pekka started the year very well; he caught a huge mousie on the Catio yesterday morning. And then he sat on Äiti's crossword so he got lots of attention and scritches.
Concats to Pekka on the mousie! We havent seen anny in a few days. Perhaps they held their own New Year celebrations deep down in their holes and havent recoered enough to emerge when we are out. The smart ones have been collecting their seeds all year and can wait for Spring.
We will get the slackers; it is part of the arrangement. We will catch those and improve the the mousie population. Helps them and makes us become better hunters, too!
TBT got bored with crossword puzzles, but he reads the whole Washington Post newspaper at lunch. We sit on THAT. Comics pages are the best to sit on. He can see parts of them, but not the whole thing, so he pays a lot of attention to us ta get us ta move slightly. MOL!
