Fungal Friday

What is this on the Catio ?  That is our birch stump seat, and it is being taken over by this weird stuff.
It doesn't leave mushroom for us to sit.

    Maybe those 'shrooms are tasty? We humans love mushrooms...yummy...and I take photos of the stuff that I find growing in the wild. Some have wonderful colors, and they look outer-spacey.
