On Saturday something incredible happened here. Äiti visited the local eläinkoti and came home without another felocrat! We were stunned. We kept checking whether hell had frozen over or pigs had learned to fly; but no, a miracle had occurred.
Vierashuone, the city shelter, was a wonderful place and Äiti was delighted to see many kitties with 'varattu' (reserved) on their noticeboards. She came close to 'danger' with a handsome black mancat, but felt confident he would find a good home soon elsewhere. Right now she does not want anything to disturb the delicate power struggles -which are not so darn delicate when it comes to the biteys I have had! But her priority is Lewis as she wants him to feel safe and unstressed in his senior days.
I love Lewis. I'm shocked that she was able to resist, especially a black mancat, I'm not sure I would have been able to stop myself.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice floofy mancat. He does deserve a peaceful life--do the Felociraptors show him due respect?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Äiti is taking Lewis's wellbeing into account. He deserves some peace and quiet... unlike certain senior kitties at my house who seem to thrive on noise and trouble.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Lewis's needs come first being an elder statesman.
ReplyDeleteViscount Veikko, hopefully you are wearing sweaters to guard your nekkidness against more biteys!
ReplyDeleteOoh, a black mancat...yummy!
Did you know that you can visit Hell, here in Michigan? We have a town named that...
Lewis is a cutie.
