This summer our kissanminttu crop is late - we had a long and cold spring and a gardener who hardly has the best green fingers (or thumbs as we say in Finnish). She did make a bit of an effort and we currently have this bounteous pot on the Catio which Jura samples.
The broken leaves are indeed very attractive and full of wondrous substances.....
...which make Mirsku roll over.
And here is Tessie-kilpikonna. She still has a few dandelion flowers to enjoy and is eating her way through a couple of lettuces a day.
Meezer May Ling wonders if there's enough to share with The Mighty Finnish Mancat???
ReplyDeleteAnd Mommy thinks Tessie looks larger!
I guess there isn't any such thing as tortoisenip?
ReplyDeleteThat is a very healthy looking pot of nip of which Mirsku is very appreciative. Tessie is certainly tucking into those dandelions.
ReplyDeleteHehe. Our nip is growing nicely (mainly because it was inside, though), but we of course ignore it. Maybe not the same kind of satisfaction like Mirsku seems to enjoy, but oh yet so satisfying to drive Mom nuts. Wait. Does this mean that catnip effects Mom?
ReplyDeleteNip still isn't doing much for me. Maybe it's an age thing. I don't know. Anyway, that's quite a crew you got there!! Happy Sunday y'all!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing Tessie! Looks like she's rather enjoying her nom.
ReplyDeleteYesh. Catio party times are coming. Lots of hard stuff comin'... What a lucky gang are you. And good old Tesiie go on and go on. She remains us, how important old and wise characters are. Cheers Tessie.
