Saturday Sun Puddle

The equinox has passed so we know that the sunshine will leave us too soon we take every opportunity we can to sit outside, especially if Äiti is with us (note her ever preseent mug of tea!). Ruska is always on mousewatch and this season has presented many gifts to Äiti. She gets the stinky shrews which don't taste good; only Ruska knows how many he has caught as the tastier rodents get eaten!
Jaava and Jura were missed out of the first picture - they shared the top platform (of course).

  3. How very generous of Ruska giving Äiti the ones that don't taste ... on the other hand, considering how picky humans are, it's probably a very wise thing to do - or would Äiti actually eat the tastier ones?

  4. Yesh. Ruska is barefoot brother. He knows that October is traditional hunting month. So, go on Ruska and keep the gang in good food. Especially Äiti can enjoy autumns gifts - and I don't mean sun. Heh.

  5. Good idea to make the most of the sun while you still can. It is raining torrents here.

  7. Enjoy any sun you can find , dear friends. You really dry dark winters there in Finland (North).
Is Tessie still preparing for her long sleep or is her hibernation already underway?

We love comments from our Loyal Readers, even though Äiti is really bad at commenting back. But please don't let that stop you......

Saa kirjoitta suomeksikin - Äiti on laiska, mutta on pakko oppia suomea.

Tervetuloa! Welcome!
